Who Is La Plouccc?
My name is Luce Cavalchini, but in my creative world, I’m La Plouccc. In French, it means “the tacky one” - yes, really!
It started as a joke after an episode of Emily in Paris, when a snobbish colleague greets Emily with a sarcastic “Bonjour, la plouc.” A joke between cousins became a nickname, and the nickname became an identity. After all, being a little unconventional is kind of the point.
In 2021, a university professor asked us: “What if you could build your dream job from scratch?” That question brought together everything I loved: art, fashion, colour and painting.
And so La Plouccc was born - my creative alter ego, where art moves across fashion, objects and design, shaped by my background in fashion communication and graphic design.
It’s the part of me that plays, experiments and isn’t afraid to stand out.
